Hubble Public Lecture Series: Insights Into the Interplay of Science & Art

MARCH 3
2015

March 3, 2015
Location: Baltimore, Md.

Artist Dario Robleto's exhibition, "Setlists for a Setting Sun," draws on astronomical sources for inspiration, including revelations from the Hubble Space Telescope. The exhibit, currently on display at the Baltimore Museum of Art, will be the focus of discussion by Robleto, and Hubble astrophysicist Frank Summers. The duo will talk about the ways in which Hubble imagery has influenced Robleto and his works, and discuss the art and science of Hubble images themselves. The lecture is free to the public.
