In celebration of the Hubble Space Telescope’s 25th anniversary, NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, MD will welcome the public for Explore@NASAGoddard Day on Saturday, Sept. 26, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The theme for the event is, “Celebrating Hubble and the Spirit of Exploration.” Approximately 130 engaging hands-on activities and exhibits, along with more than 30 fascinating presentations and 13 inspiring tours, will be available for event attendees to enjoy. In addition to connecting visitors with Goddard’s core areas of Earth science, heliophysics, planetary science, astrophysics, and engineering and technology, Explore@NASAGoddard Day will feature games and prizes, LEGO® building, food trucks, and live music and other entertainment. Guests will also have the opportunity to meet and speak with NASA scientists, engineers and astronauts.
