Hubble Space Telescope 25th Anniversary Celebration

The Delaware Museum of Natural History celebrates 25 years of Hubble discoveries with an astronomical-sized lineup. Visitors will enjoy hands-on activities, meet space specialists & scientists, and celebrate the Hubble Space Telescope’s legacy. Members of the Delaware Astronomical Society will be on hand to show off high-powered telescopes; NASA Ambassador and real rocket scientist John Conrad will excite visitors with lectures throughout the day in the DuPont Auditorium; ILC Dover historian Bill Ayrey will show off a real spacesuit (made in Delaware!), as well as additional equipment used by astronauts during space flight; and visitors will make and take home a space-themed craft from the Nature Nook. Cost included in admission.
